 eLOGMAR-M is a collaborative project initiated to create innovative solutions for port and logistics transport management. We are working on optimizing the logistics processes by utilizing and adapting latest simulation and information technologies.
The major aim of the eLOGMAR-M is to gather and co-ordinate activities in the field of IT- and Communication solutions (Web-services, GPRS and WAP/WML mobile services, simulation, technologies for information systems design, virtual reality) with maritime and logistics applications. The maritime freight route "Baltic Sea feeder ports - Western Europe hub ports (Hamburg) - Mediterranean ports - Chinese ports" is selected as the subject of investigation and demonstration.

A Web-portal provides transport services' consumers with advanced IT and Mobile solutions to solve their logistics tasks.
It was created under eLogmar-M project within the Sixth Framework Program (DG INFSO) of the European Commission (www.elogmar-m.org). The transportation freight route “China – Mediterranean – Western Europe – Baltic Sea” is selected for demonstration of Web – based and Mobile services with maritime & transport logistics applications.
Therefore if you are dealing with cargo transportation along “China – Europe ” route our Web-portal is especially for you!!!
A web-portal can be also easy adapted to any other cargo transportation route by entering additional data (tariffs,expected transit time etc.)
