eLOGMAR-M项目目标及结论


项目目标

One of the main objectives is devoted to the problems of setting up a collaborative partner pool, which unites organisations from different countries (Germany, U.K., Finland, Greece, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and China) operating within the selected transport route by means of integrating their electronic information resources (databases, information systems, Web-sites and portals) in collaborative work environment.

Another important objective is focused on new work methods for the mobile actors in logistics and maritime areas (traders, resellers, railway carriers, shippers, consignees, insurers, agents, forwarders etc.) providing them with advanced mobile services, such as WAP over GPRS, PC-connected Web surfing and mobile e-mail and chatting.

A set of collaborative activities will support the main objectives of the project: definition, organisation and management of joint initiatives; organisation of conferences and workshops; setting up of expert groups; exchange and dissemination of good practice.

项目结论

  1. Recommendations and specifications for uniting different information resources (IS, DB, Web-sites), creating an Internet based Collaborative Work Environment and mobile access to it using GPRS, that will be presented in the form of the project proceedings and disseminated within European IST and maritime societies.

  2. Demonstration of the Internet based Work Environment and mobile access to it: samples of combinations of information resources along the maritime freight route "Europe - China" with mobile access within a dynamic virtual work environment will be presented.

  3. Internet-based interactive Web-site as a tool for supporting the dynamic collaboration of partners along the maritime freight route.

  4. A series of seven technical WSs and two international conferences aimed at integrating organisations from candidate-countries into the European IST and maritime Communities and collaborating with huge Chinese IST and logistics market.

  5. A network of branch offices of the Baltic Regional Competence Centre forming virtual structure in the field of advanced IT- and mobile solutions with logistics and maritime applications in Riga (Latvia), Tallinn (Estonia) and Klaipeda (Lithuania).

  6. Multimedia CD presenting possibilities of Collaborative Work Environment and mobile solutions.
